The European Commission decision finding an agreement among Europe to Far East carriers not to discount charges and surcharges infringed competition law.
Commission Decision 2000/627/EC of 16 May 2000, in case IV/34.018 concerning the Far East Trade Tariff Charges and Surcharges Agreement (FETTCSA), found that an agreement among carriers not to discount from published tariffs for charges and surcharges, BAF among them, infringed Article 81(1) EC for a period in 1992.
