FuelEU Document of Compliance

The FuelEU document of compliance is the certificate a ship must hold under Article 24 of FuelEU Maritime , Regulation (EU) 2023/1805. The verifier issues it by 30 June of the verification period where no penalty is due (Article 22(1)); where a penalty is due, the competent authority of the administering State issues it after payment (Article 22(2)). It is valid for 18 months after the end of the reporting period (Article 22(4)).
