GISIS MARPOL Annex VI module
The IMO GISIS MARPOL Annex VI module: fuel availability reporting under Regulation 18.1, FONAR notifications under 18.2.5, and supplier reporting.
The GISIS MARPOL Annex VI module is the part of IMO’s Global Integrated Shipping Information System through which Parties submit the information MARPOL Annex VI requires. MEPC.320(74) paragraph 5.1.8 names it as the platform for notifications under Regulation 18.2.5 when a ship presents evidence of non-availability of compliant fuel.
