The Governing Board of the draft IMO Net-Zero Fund would be appointed by the Committee to oversee the Fund’s day-to-day operations under draft regulation 40.3 of the IMO Net-Zero Framework . Regulation 40.5 requires it to be gender and geographically balanced, with adequate representation of developing countries, in particular SIDS and LDCs, and regulation 40.6 requires an annual report to the Committee.
