The International Code on Intact Stability, 2008 (2008 IS Code) was adopted by IMO Resolution MSC.267(85) on 4 December 2008. It sets the intact stability criteria applied to ships under SOLAS and the 1988 Load Lines Protocol, split into a mandatory Part A and a recommendatory Part B.
