Sewage Record Book: Draft MARPOL Annex IV Reg 11A
The Sewage Record Book is a draft MARPOL Annex IV Regulation 11A agreed in principle at PPR 13 in February 2026; no sewage record book is mandatory yet.
A Sewage Record Book is not yet required under MARPOL Annex IV . At its 13th session, 9 to 13 February 2026, the IMO Sub-Committee on Pollution Prevention and Response agreed in principle a draft Regulation 11A introducing a Sewage Record Book, with a draft Regulation 11B on a Sewage Management Plan, as part of the comprehensive revision of Annex IV. Neither has been adopted.
